A Shiva temple at Kundalur in Tiruvarur district, some 20 km from Kumbakonam, with the lingam worshipped as Jambukaranyesvarar and the goddess as Anandavalli. It is one of the Vaippu Sthalams named in the hymns of the Nayanar Appar.
The place is remembered as Jambu Karanyam, where Sita is said to have worshipped and the sage Roma Maharishi performed penance.
