A Shiva temple in Nallicheri village, about 13 km from Thanjavur on the Kumbakonam road, where the goddess is Akilandesvari. It is one of the seven shrines of the Saptamatrikas that make up the Saptasthanam of Chakkarappalli, and for three evenings in February or March the sun's rays fall on the linga.

Nandi is said to have worshipped Shiva at this place, and a sculpture in the temple shows him doing so.
