Kurukshetra, Haryana · 29.9635°, 76.7718°
The Kurukshetra site traditionally identified as the place where Krishna delivered the Bhagavad Gita, centred on an ancient banyan tree. It is a principal stop on the Krishna Circuit and has been developed with a museum and monumental bronzes.
Beneath this banyan Krishna is said to have counselled the wavering Arjuna and revealed to him his universal form.
