History & significance

A Shiva temple on the Anjarakandy river that is unusual in housing two images of equal standing in separate sanctums. It is one of three Thrikkapaleeswaram shrines listed among Kerala's 108 Shiva temples, the others being at Niranam and Nadapuram, and its main festival is Maha Shivaratri.
