An old Shiva temple on the bank of the Thodupuzha river, counted among the 108 Shiva temples of Kerala. The deity is shown seated in meditation beneath a kalpavriksha with Parvati, and the compound holds subsidiary shrines to Durga, Ganapati and Mookambika.
The lingam is traditionally said to have been installed by the sage Parasurama.
