One of Hyderabad's oldest surviving temples, dated to about 1198 CE and attributed to the Kakatiya king Prola II, where Hanuman is worshipped in a seated meditative form. The complex also holds shrines to Rama, Shiva, Saraswati, Durga, Krishna and Jagannath.
The king is said to have found a stone image of Hanuman while out hunting, and to have built the temple after the god appeared in his dream that night and asked for one.
