History & significance

A small thirteenth-century Shiva shrine standing about a hundred metres from the eastern gateway of the Lingaraja temple in Bhubaneswar's old town. It survives as a modest example of late Kalingan temple building, though vegetation and water seepage have left it in poor repair.
