History & significance

A Vishnu temple at Kodlamane in Honnavar taluk of Uttara Kannada district, about a kilometre from Idagunji and 23 km from Honnavar town. A natural stream called Vishnu Tirtha runs beside it.

Sthala katha — the legend

The shrine is said to have been found several centuries ago deep inside dense hill forest.
