History & significance

A hill shrine in Siddipet district about 85 km from Hyderabad, one of the main centres of the folk worship of Mallanna, whom devotees also identify with Khandoba.

The Oggu Katha singers tell how Mallanna won the goddess Medallamma by meeting the conditions set by her brothers.
