A group of stone temples about 12 km from Udhampur, dated by the Archaeological Survey of India to the 8th–9th centuries and built in the Nagara idiom with rekha shikharas, panchratha plans, gavaksha ornament and pillared mandapas — among the oldest surviving temple architecture in the Jammu region.
Locally the group is called the Pandava Temples: Raja Kichak is said to have founded the town, and the Pandavas to have stayed here at length during their exile.
