A Shiva temple on the northern edge of Thiruvananthapuram, reckoned among the 108 Shiva temples of Kerala, with east-facing sanctums and subsidiary worship of Ganapathy and the serpent Vasuki. Its annual festival falls in the Malayalam month of Dhanu.
The shrine is believed to have been established by the sage Parasurama.
