History & significance

A hilltop shrine to Kartikeya at Hanumanthanagar in Bengaluru, on the rise known as Mount Joy; its original panchaloha image is now kept on separate display while a later granite idol receives worship, and the shrine is likened to the Swaminatha Swamy temple in Thanjavur.
