A Shiva temple about 5 km north-east of Thrissur where the god is worshipped in the fierce Kiratha form, with subsidiary shrines to Ganapathy, Ayyappan and Vishnu. Its image is reputed to be more than three centuries old, though no records survive to confirm it; the ten-day Utsavam Pallivetta ending in the Aarattu is its chief festival.
