A Vaishnava temple of the early 18th century enlarged by grants from the Mysore king Dodda Krishnaraja I, with a gopura and sikhara in the Dravidian manner. Records note a metallic Rama image given by the local chief Devarajiah of Kalale and silver gifts made by Tipu Sultan in 1791; it is an ASI-protected monument.
