History & significance

A small ruined granite Shiva temple at Khajuraho dated to about 900 CE, the second oldest surviving temple on the site after the Chausath Yogini temple. Its curvilinear tower has fallen and its entrance porch is gone, leaving a pyramid-roofed shell.
