A stupa on the bank of the Ayeyarwady at Bagan, built in the reign of King Anawrahta, founder of the Pagan Empire, and holding a replica of a tooth relic of the Buddha. A bejewelled hti was hoisted to its summit on 24 May 2003, and its annual festival falls in July.
