The tallest temple at Bagan, a five-storeyed brick and stucco structure about 61 metres high crowned by a sikhara tower, completed in 1150-51 in the reign of King Sithu I. It is read by scholars as a high point of Pagan-period architecture, and has been under restoration since the earthquake of 2016.
