History & significance

A temple in Paga-Gopinathpur village near Salipur dedicated to Jagannath and to the holy man Madhabananda, resorted to locally for the healing of cattle. Dola Jatra, Dadhi Khela Jatra, Rama Navami and Janmashtami are among the festivals kept here.
