A busy Vinayakar temple at the junction of Sardar Patel Road and Rajiv Gandhi Salai in Adyar, with the main deity ringed by shrines to Shiva, Surya, Devi and Vishnu as well as Anjaneya and Swarna Bhairavar.
Its best-known image is the Adhyantha Prabhu, half Ganesha and half Hanuman, said to have been made after a temple official saw that combined form in a vision.
