History & significance

A Shiva temple within the old Athiyaman fort at Dharmapuri, counted among the Vaippu Sthalams praised in the hymns of the Nayanar Sundarar. It also holds the samadhi shrine of Siddhalingesvarar, which receives the first worship of the day, along with shrines to Yoga Narasimha, Virabhadra, Bhairava and Surya.
