A hilltop Murugan temple northwest of Coimbatore, regarded as the god's seventh abode and reached by a ghat road or some 837 steps. The medieval saint Arunagirinathar sang of it in the Thiruppugal, and a cave shrine to Pambatti Siddhar adjoins it.
