Described as one of the oldest nagabanas of Udupi district, this serpent shrine venerates Nagaraja alongside Brahma, Raktheshwari, Nandikona, Kshetrapala and the daiva Bobbarya. Its main observances are Nagara Panchami, Subrahmanya Shasti, Navaratri and the annual Varshikotsava.
