History & significance

An old goddess temple at Poovachal, about 30 km from Thiruvananthapuram, where Chamundi is the cardinal deity and subsidiary shrines hold Yakshiyamma, Ganapati, Yogeshwara, Nagar and Brahmarakshas. Its three-day Makam Thozhal in Meenam is the year's main observance.
