History & significance

A Shiva temple at Mullassery in Thrissur district, about 20 km from Thrissur town, counted among the 108 Shiva shrines of Kerala. Mahashivaratri and the temple's own Shashti festival, with kavadi processions and caparisoned elephants, are its main observances.
