A rock-cut cave shrine to Shiva in the Aravalli foothills on the Rajsamand–Pali border, dated to 1005 CE and reached by a climb of some five hundred steps from Sadri. It holds naturally formed figures of Shiva and Ganesha and nine kunds that are said never to run dry.
Parashurama, the sixth incarnation of Vishnu, is said to have cut the cave out with his axe and performed severe penance to Shiva here.
