ആറന്മുള ശ്രീ പാർത്ഥസാരഥിക്ഷേത്രം
Aranmula, Kerala · 9.3281°, 76.6879°
A riverside Divya Desam on the Pamba, home of the spectacular Aranmula snake-boat race rowed during Onam and of the village craft of the Aranmula kannadi metal mirror. Among the Pandava shrines of the region it is linked to Arjuna.
Arjuna is said to have built the shrine in atonement for slaying the unarmed Karna, bringing the image on a raft of six bamboos - the 'aran-mula'.
