A Ganesha temple at East Fort, close to the Padmanabhaswamy temple, whose seated image was kept by the Nair Brigade at Padmanabhapuram and installed here when the brigade moved to Thiruvananthapuram. It passed to the Indian Army after the state forces were integrated, and holds thirty-two further sculptures of Ganesha.
