History & significance

A Subrahmanya temple at Polor in Kuruvattoor panchayat, Kozhikode district, counted among the oldest in the area and connected with the Porlathiri king from whom the region takes its name; Ganapathi, Vettakkorumakan, Ayyappan and Devi are also worshipped here.
