A Khmer sanctuary of the Baphuon period whose three towers on a shared platform stood for the Trimurti, registered as a national monument in 1935. Rebuilt under Lan Xang influence in the 18th-19th centuries, it passed into Buddhist use and its name changed from Prasat Ban Prasat to That Chedi and then to its present form.
