History & significance

A temple at Moranapalli near Hosur devoted chiefly to Pratyangira, alongside Sharabha, Narasimha and Mariamman, and said to carry the largest image of the goddess, set on its gopuram. Worshippers offer garlands and light ghee lamps below the deity, and the temple draws heavy crowds through the week.
