History & significance

A Vishnu temple at Midayikunnam in Kottayam district whose sanctum shows the deity astride Garuda with Bhudevi, set within a tiled, saddle-roofed chuttambalam. It is valued chiefly for its murals, among the notable surviving examples of Kerala temple painting.
