The middle shrine of the tri-ranga group of Ranganatha temples set on natural islands in the Kaveri, standing at Shivanasamudra in Chamarajanagar district. Renovation work on the remote temple began in February 2021.
In Sri Vaishnava belief the three island Ranganathas mark stages of the god's life, and the Shivanasamudra deity is revered as his youthful form.
