A Shiva shrine at roughly 3,600 m in the Garhwal Himalaya where the face of the god is worshipped, forming the fourth temple of the Panch Kedar circuit. It is also a site for ancestral rites.
When Bhima caught the bull into which Shiva had transformed, it sank into the ground and reappeared in five parts, the face emerging at Rudranath.
