History & significance

A Mariamman temple in the USJ suburb of Subang Jaya, believed but never proven to have been founded in 1891. Its forced relocation from land sold by Sime Darby to the One City developer MCT Bhd produced a long dispute that erupted into rioting in 2018, making it the best-known temple land case in Malaysia.
