A roofless stone shrine to Durga on Shikari peak, at 3,332 m the highest point in Mandi district and the centre of the Shikari Devi Sanctuary above the Janjheli and Karsog valleys. Long resorted to by local hunters seeking a good chase, it draws its largest crowds at Navratri.

The Pandavas, exiled and hunting here, are said to have chased a deer that vanished into the forest, understood the animal to have been the goddess guiding them, and founded the shrine where they then meditated.
