Sangar, Pouni, Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir · 33.1700°, 74.6000°
A cave shrine about 200 m deep in Reasi district, some 80 km from Katra, whose rock formations are read as images of the gods around a self-formed lingam. Pilgrim numbers rose to roughly two million by 2016 after the Shiv Khori Shrine Board was set up in December 2003.
One passage inside the cave, now sealed, is said to have run through to the Amarnath cave in Kashmir.
