An ashram site in Singiya village of Madhubani district, Mithila, whose Shringeshwar Mahadev temple enshrines a Shivalinga and was built in the regional Tirhut style around the turn of the 19th century.
The Ramayana sage Shringi is said to have lived out his last years at this spot, which took its name from him.
