Sikri Khurd, Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh · 28.8144°, 77.5700°
A goddess temple founded in 1532 by Jalim Giri Baba of the Goswami community, according to Bhaat records. During the 1857 rebellion more than 130 rebels were hanged from an old banyan tree on its grounds; the shrine passed from the founder's descendants to the gram panchayat in 1977 and to the Modinagar municipal body in 2024.
Jalim Giri Baba is said to have built the shrine after a darshan of Durga told him to raise it on that spot.
