An old piriven vihara — a monastic teaching temple — at Dombawela in Udugampola, Gampaha District, recognised by the government as a protected archaeological monument. Its precinct holds a stupa, image house, Bodhi tree, bell tower, preaching hall, library and monks' dwellings, the old library building having been conserved in 2010.
