History & significance

A Vaishnava temple in the royal town of Klang dedicated to Vishnu as Perumal, built in 1892 and wholly reconstructed in 2015 as the first granite temple in Malaysia. Its gopuram carved with images of the deities has made it a principal Perumal shrine for Malaysian Tamils, who call it the Tirupati of Southeast Asia.
