One of the Vaippu Sthalams praised in the hymns of the Nayanar Sundarar, near Thirukkuvalai in Nagapattinam district. The temple has no gopuram but opens to both east and west, keeps two atti trees, and holds an annual Nel Atti Vizha during Masi Maham.
Sundarar is said to have asked the god at Tirukkuvalai to send on the paddy he had been given, and the deity had it delivered by his attendants.
