Gadhada, Gujarat · 21.9666°, 71.5748°
One of the six temples raised by Swaminarayan himself, opened on 9 October 1828 in the courtyard of Dada Khachar's residence at Gadhada on land the family donated. The two-storey, three-domed shrine stands on a raised plinth with an assembly hall, pilgrim lodgings and kitchens, and in 2012 became the first temple in Gujarat to receive golden spires.
