The foremost of the five pathis of the Ayyavazhi tradition, in Kanyakumari district. Its inner Palliyarai keeps objects held to have been used by Ayya Vaikundar, including a rattan cane and wooden sandals, and the Ayya Vaikunda Avataram festival draws followers from across the country.
Followers hold that Vaikundar performed austerities at this spot for six years and was afterwards interred within the temple.
