A Thrissur city temple where Krishna in child form and Bhadrakali are worshipped with equal standing, with sub-shrines for Ganesha, Sastha and Brahmarakshasa. It leads one of the two rival contingents of the annual Thrissur Pooram festival.
The goddess here is regarded as the younger sister of the Bhagavathi of the Paramekkavu temple, the Pooram's other contingent.
