History & significance

A Krishna temple at Taliparamba in north Kerala whose sanctum preserves carvings and murals of the 15th and 16th centuries, with the shrine already named in an 11th-century Sanskrit text. Its tank shrine to Durga is counted among the 108 ancient Durga temples of Kerala.
