A twelfth-century Shiva temple at Udayamperoor in Ernakulam district, set in a courtyard of some four acres with gopurams and a round sanctum, and counted among Kerala's 108 Shiva temples. Three inscriptions of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries are associated with it, one of them still well preserved on the base of the namaskaramandapa.
Folklore credits the installation of the idol to the sage Parashurama.
