A Krishna temple on the southern bank of the Bharathapuzha at Tavanur, one of a group of old shrines there that includes a Shiva and a Brahma temple and faces Thirunavaya across the river.
The child Krishna is said to have appeared to the saint Vilwamangalam Swamiyar here, and the image of the youthful Krishna was installed after the saint left his body.
