A small Shiva temple on Gandhi Road in Kanchipuram whose lingam is described as showing sixteen shades. Devotees resort to it when entangled in litigation, praying for cases to be cleared.

The devas and asuras are said to have set up the lingam here while arguing over the meaning of sat and asat, and Shiva appeared to settle the doubt, whence the name Vazhukaruteeswarar.
