A goddess temple about 2 km from Arantangi in Pudukkottai district, where Veeramakaliamman is enshrined seated, with a vasantha mandapa and maha mandapa and shrines of Vinayaka and Karuppar in front. Four daily pujas are performed and festivals run through the Tamil year.
The place, then called Veeravanam, is said to have been visited by the Pandavas during their forest exile, who worshipped the goddess here.
