History & significance

A Shiva temple at Rivona in Sanguem taluka of Goa whose lingam is held to be swayambhu, with affiliated deities Kamaleshwar, Mahalakshmi, Maruti, Purush and Ravalnath. The Prabhu Dessai family and the Daivajna Brahmin Rivonkar families serve as its mahajans, and Shigmo, Dasara, Kalo, Pindikaotsav and Shivratri are observed.
